Some days it’s hard to find the motivation you need to locate the perfect content to share with your followers. Here’s some quick and easy resources to help you get your twitter-mojo back.
- Stumble Upon If you haven’t ‘stumbled’ before, you’re missing a real treat. With millions of users worldwide, this great resource provides a never-ending flow of content selected upon personal preferences and curation needs. It’s also a perfect place to procrastinate a few hours away!
- Alltop: Guy Kawasaki’s brainchild, Alltop is a great resource for keeping up to date with the very latest news on a huge range of topics and contains key posts from social media superstars including Brian Solis, Dan Zarrella and Chris Pirillo. It’s an inspiring place to be when you need to feed your brain with some quality content.
- Delicious A firm favourite with many content seekers, Delicious has been recently updated with many new features, enabling you to “save, stack and share the web”, instantly save your favorite links, collect your discoveries in a stack (a collection of links built around a common theme) and share them with others. A great all round content-finding tool!
- Read a Daily Paper.li These fabulous Twitter generated newspapers make for great reading and are curated by some of the biggest names in social media. They are made up of all that’s trending on Twitter under a variety of subject headings. You can subscribe to the ones that take your fancy and have them delivered free to your Inbox daily or, you can easily make your own by logging onto the website and following the simple instructions. - News.me is a social news experience in direct competition with applications such as Zite and Flipboard for the iPad, but also available as a web-based service that delivers fresh content via email. Not only does it provide you with a list of content your friends are sharing, it claims to offer a “seamless interface for immersive reading” that uses “science to find the most relevant content in every user’s stream.” I think it’s one to try!

Thanks Sarah-Jayne 🙂 I also use Reddit.com as a source of great content. I use the subreddit r/socialmedia to find out what’s going on in the world of social, and there is a subreddit for just about anything else. Well worth a look.
